Welcome to Deer Wood Farms. These Terms & Conditions outline the expectations and policies associated with booking and hosting events at our venue. By reserving with us or using thedeerwoodfarms.com, you agree to the following:

A signed agreement and required deposit are necessary to secure your event date. All reservations are confirmed only upon receipt of both.  Final payment terms and schedule will be outlined in your event agreement.

A security deposit is required to reserve your event and ensure the care and condition of Deer Wood Farms.

• Deposits will be returned within 15 business days following your event 
• Refunds are issued provided there are no damages, excessive cleaning requirements, or additional charges 
• Any costs related to damages, extended event time, or additional services will be deducted from the deposit 
• The remaining balance will be returned promptly thereafter 

At Deer Wood Farms, every effort is made to deliver an exceptional and seamless event experience. However, certain circumstances beyond our control may impact the ability to safely host an event.

These may include, but are not limited to:

• Severe weather or hazardous conditions 
• Power outages or utility interruptions 
• Acts of nature or other unforeseen events 

In the event Deer Wood Farms determines that conditions are unsafe or unsuitable, we reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the event.

In such cases:

• All deposits and payments will be applied toward a rescheduled event date within a mutually agreed-upon timeframe 
• If additional costs are incurred due to rescheduling, they will be communicated in advance 
• Refunds, if any, will be handled at the discretion of Deer Wood Farms and in accordance with the event agreement 

Your reserved event time includes all agreed-upon hours for use of the property.

Events that extend beyond the contracted time may incur additional charges. These charges will be deducted from the security deposit or billed separately if necessary.

All venue rentals and applicable services are subject to South Carolina state sales tax as well as any required Pickens County local taxes, as mandated by law.

These taxes will be included in your final invoice.

Guests agree to use Deer Wood Farms in a respectful and responsible manner. The client is responsible for the conduct of all guests, vendors, and attendees during the event.

Any damage to property, facilities, or grounds may result in additional charges.

Clients may be required to use approved or insured vendors depending on the nature of the event. All vendors must comply with venue guidelines.  The client assumes responsibility for all third-party services associated with their event and their guest.

Cancellation terms, including any applicable refunds or forfeitures, will be outlined in your individual event agreement.

Deer Wood Farms is not responsible for:

• Personal injury 
• Loss or damage to personal belongings 
• Actions of guests, vendors, or third parties 

Clients may be required to obtain event insurance depending on the nature of the event.

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions as needed. The most current version will always be available on our website.
